It Done Come a Flood!

Ok...not quite. But man, we got some serious rain. We were under a tornado watch until 10 PM. Luckily things have settled down. I hate storms, especially with thunder.

Today was a pretty boring day. HOT and MUGGY. I love the warm weather though; I'd rather sweat than freeze any day of the week. I'm SO glad Summer's on its way.

Because of the crazy weather we had, the Skate A Rama that was to be held at Cora's school was postponed until next week.

10 things I need to get done tomorrow:

1. Finish hanging laundry
2. Finish balancing checkbook
3. Clean my bedroom
4. Empty Dishwasher
5. Load Dishwasher
6. Take two quizzes
7. Buy garbage bags
8. Clean off desk
9. Take movies back
10. Mail Andrew's release to company

Wonder how much of it I'll get done??? Hee hee...

Welp, I'm out. Later taters...

Neat Stuff!

I did this layout today with Manda Bean's Crazy For Clipboards kit found at Sweet Shoppe Designs.

I also designed the scotch tape holding the picture to the paper. Here is the tape if you would like to have it. Kinda different.

Download HERE.

Please leave a comment if you snag it, and PLEASE don't illegally share the link; send 'em to my blog to get it. Thanks.

Let's Hear It For The Boy!

My jam! :)

It's supposed to be warm today. Partay!

Guess what I got last night when the UPS man came? My Mother's Day present. Andrew got me the 580 EX Speedlite flash for my camera. I'm WAY geeked! I'm mainly a natural light girl, but this will definitely come in handy for a couple future projects I have in the works. I also got a huge backpack for all my camera stuff. I was running out of room in my other camera case.
My husband ROCKS!!!!!!

Ok...I posted a challenge on The Digi Chick. Blog about your favorite summer activity.

The girls and Andrew love to go camping. I do not. :)

I love to take the girls to the park and let them run around like monkeys. This summer they're both trying out baseball and softball, so we'll see how they like that.

Ultimate Round 4 Layout

Here's the link to my Round 4 layout. I'm lovin' it.

Soul.

Any love would be greatly appreciated!

Monday!

So like, I made it to round 4 in the Ultimate Digi Scrapper contest!!! I'm pretty excited; there was some VERY still competition last week.
This week's challenge is "freestyle". Just do what you do, and do it awesome! Should be fun. There are only 40 contestants left, and next week it shrinks to 7. Woah! Gotta bring it if I want to keep going.

Sarah had her Dial 3 assessment this morning for kindergarten. She was a little anxious about going in the room with a bunch of ladies she had never seen before, but once she went in, she was fine. After, we went to Big Apple Bagels for a Breakfast BLT, orange juice and a Caramel Latte for me.

Watched The Great Raid last night. It was pretty good, but I'll have to watch it again so I can see it all...everyone else had other plans about me watching it. I love military movies, although the Thin Red Line was HORRID!!!!! It was like someone pushed a thumb tack into my eye for 2 1/2 hours. NOT an experience I would like to repeat. Stupid movie.

Here's a layout I did yesterday.
