Is it NOT APRIL????
Yeah. It's snowing. In April? Yup, in April. We've got about 3 inches on the ground. Sigh. I hate Michigan in winter. Oh wait, it's SPRING! HA! Not today it isn't. There's a poor little Killdeer sitting on her nest in the backyard. I bet she's freezing and saying to herself, " I thought it was safe to lay my eggs!" The buds were just starting to come out on the trees. Here's our forecast for the next week:

Ugh... I know what you mean... it's cold here in Chicago and we'll be driving tomorrow to spend a chilly Easter weekend with my in-laws on Lake St. Clair. I'm reminded now why we didn't used to visit them until July or August while we lived in Texas.
