Yeah, I know. It's been forever. Sorry 'bout that. We're all doing well and getting ready for a brutal Texas summer. LOVE it!
Just got done with shooting the Texas Shootout in College Station, TX, last weekend. The wind there is always wicked crazy. Still had a great time and handled the wind fairly well compared to last year. Got my usual sunburn, but now it's just a tan. Sweet.
Cora will be going to the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Academy next year. It's a magnet school, and she's very excited to have been accepted. I think it's a great program and she'll really benefit from it. Sarah's excited to finally have the school to herself next year!
I've been tinkering with the idea of getting back into scrapbooking soon. Just a page or two here and there. I miss it. I haven't scrapped a page in almost a year.
I've been working at Time Warner Cable for 7 months now. I really enjoy it most of the time. You get the occasional angry customer, but you take it as it comes. The majority are really nice. I love the fact that they're really flexible with vacation, and I got 2.5 weeks of it this year. Nice. I would love to take a 3 day weekend this summer and go to Corpus Christi to let the girls see the Gulf. We might do that the weekend they get out of school. We shall see.
This Sat the girls and I are walking in the Race For The Cure with Team Time Warner Cable. Should be a good time. I'll post photos when we get back.
