Happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, and is at this moment feeling nauseous from all the calories they consumed the past few days. I know I am! I don't even want to begin to count all the calories that passed my lips this weekend. I figure that it's a holiday, and that's what it's for. Spending time with family, joking around, and eating yummy food.

Rick sawin' on the turkey

Thursday we spent at my sister-in-law's house. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, yams, green bean casserole, ham rollups, assorted pies and of course, potato candy.
It was wonderful to spend time with family. Seems that with everyone's busy lives, it's harder and harder to get together with everyone.
The girls spent the night at their cousins' house Thursday night, and Andrew and I came home and watched tv until 2 in the morning.
Later in the afternoon yesterday, he and I went bowling. It had been years since either of us had bowled. It was a blast! I actually beat Andrew two games out of four! That's never happened before.

Then we went to his mom's house to hang out with family again. I was good until about 10:30, when I crashed and burned and totally fell asleep. I woke up around midnight when Andrew was getting ready to leave. The kids had a lot of fun playing with cousins, and getting to know their new cousin, Shiloh.

Not sure what we're going to do today. Prolly just hang out at home and head on up to the club to shoot later.

Things I'm thankful for:

That my girls are healthy and strong.
That Andrew and I are happy together.
That we have a wonderful extended family that is there any time we need them.
That, for the most part, I am at peace.

The Lord has blessed us.
